This was an excellent performance from the Badgers, who made good use of possession throughout to create a number of high-quality chances. The opening goal came in the first quarter, with Zac firing home a superb strike from a well-worked penalty corner. Just before half-time, Poppy combined brilliantly with Charlotte to double our lead.

Bristol and West increased the pressure in the second half and, with no substitutes available and CHC legs beginning to tire, we were unable to maintain the same level of control. Their persistence paid off in the third quarter with a superb goal, an aerial ball into space setting up their striker for a one-on-one with goalkeeper Ned.

Despite creating opportunities in the final quarter, we were unable to add to the scoreline. Ultimately, it was a well-deserved win for the Badgers, underpinned by a tremendous display of team spirit from start to finish.
