A first competitive Mixed XI cup match for a few seasons, and Cheltenham face some tough opposition in Bristol & West!
Though Cheltenham dominated much of the attaching play, try as they might they just couldn’t convert their opportunities, and found themselves going into half time 0-1 down, after a quick counter attack.
Much the same was the start of the second half, dominating the attack and not converting, though this time, more counters from Bristol now saw Cheltenham 0-4 down.
Not to be down trodden, Cheltenham kept on the attack, and were rewarded finally with a couple of well worked goals. Though having left it late and with the time not on their side, the final whistle brought the end to the match and sadly a 2-4 loss.
