Welcome to the CHC U16 Boys page.


There is a busy schedule of hockey for the U16 Boys, as we offer competitive hockey for this age group as well as working to integrate players into the adult teams.


Coaching is delivered by Will Hayes. David Stokes is the team managers. U16 Boys training takes place on a Thursday, 1830-2000 hrs, at Cheltenham College alongside men’s club (non-performance) training. There will be some weeks when the two groups combine. Men's 1s and 2s performance training is on a Tuesday, 1930-2030 hrs, at Cheltenham College and on a Thursday, 2030-2130 hrs, at Balcarras. Boys will be invited to train with the performance group, if they are considered to be of an appropriate standard.


The U16 Boys play in Tier 2 of the West League. The squad will also enter the Tier 2 National Championships and the West Indoor Championships.
