The first 10 minutes of the match saw Cheltenham dominate the game with some lovely passing hockey resulting in a goal from Henry after 6 minutes (possibly some of the best hockey we’ve played for a while).
The rest of the first half saw the boys get frustrated with themselves, each other, the umpires and the fact that they couldn’t convert their chances. This allowed Bath back into the game and we went into half time 1-1.
After a good team discussion about getting back to positive team play, and not carrying the ball too much, we scored 3 goals in 3 minutes, shortly after half time, and ended up winning 8-1! Hat-tricks for Jonty and Henry, one for Lucas and a first goal for Monty was a great outcome for all, and good preparation ahead of our Plate semi-fnal in two weeks time.
